Do-not-call list

When someone asks not to be called again, a workflow can stop calling them. Here's exactly what that does.

Stop calling someone in a workflow

  1. Add a branch for it

In the Outcome Router, add a branch such as “Do not call” so the AI can sort those calls into it. See Outcomes & captured details.

  2. Connect Suppress / DNC

Connect a Suppress / DNC step to that branch.

  3. Start calling

Every call that lands on the branch marks that contact as do-not-call.

What it does

  • The contact's outcome is set to do-not-call and it's taken out of the queue.
  • Any pending retry or follow-up call for that contact in this run is cancelled.
  • The phone number is added to your company's do-not-call list, so every workflow — including new runs and other contact lists — skips it from then on.

Your company-wide list

When you upload contacts or start a workflow, numbers on the list are skipped automatically. Numbers are matched however they were typed — with or without the country code, spaces or dashes.

Numbers marked before this list existed

Contacts marked do-not-call in earlier runs are included in the list too, so they aren't called again.

To keep your own record of who asked not to be called, send results to your CRM or a Google Sheet (see Send results to your tools).
