FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask most.

Getting started

Why can't I log in right after signing up?

Every new company is reviewed by the UBIQ team before it can log in. Until then the login page shows Still waiting for approval. Once approved, use the email and password you signed up with.

How long does setup take?

Minutes. Describe the AI employee (or paste your website), test it in your browser, attach a phone number and go live. See the Quickstart.

Calls

What's the latency on a real call?

Around 300ms to first audio on the fast end-to-end voice models; the cascaded pipeline is a little higher. You choose the voice model per AI employee. Real-world numbers vary with network and region.

What happens when the AI can't handle a call?

It's built not to invent answers. It collects the details and either transfers the caller to your team or takes a message. You set the hand-off rules per AI employee — see Call transfers.

Which languages are supported?

English (including Indian English), Hindi and other Indian languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Odia — through the Indian-language voices. See Voices & languages.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes. Bring a Twilio or Plivo number, or connect your own carrier — Jio, Airtel, Exotel and others — over a SIP trunk. See Telephony.

Data & account

Is my call data used to train models?

No. Your calls, transcripts and knowledge base belong to your company and are not used to train shared models.

Do I need my own OpenAI, Google or ElevenLabs keys?

No. Daffy Voice manages the AI and voice provider keys for you. See Provider keys.

Is there an SDK?

Not yet. Use the REST API with an API key from any language, or add the website widget with one line of code.

How do I cancel?

There's no contract. Contact us through Support in the dashboard and we'll close your account.
