Provider keys
Daffy Voice runs on speech and language models from several providers. You don't need an account with any of them — Daffy Voice manages those keys for you.
What a provider key is
Every voice call uses a voice model (for example Gemini Live, Ultravox or Sarvam for Indian languages), and some AI employees use a pipeline of speech-to-text, a language model and text-to-speech. Each of these comes from a provider that requires an API key.
Who manages them
- Provider keys are set once for the whole platform by the UBIQ team.
- Your calls use them automatically, whichever voice model you choose for an AI employee.
- Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again after they're saved.
Bringing your own provider keys
Using your own Google, OpenAI, ElevenLabs or other provider account isn't available today — every call runs on Daffy Voice's keys. If this matters for your business, tell the team through System Settings → Support.
Not to be confused with
- API keys — keys you create so your own code can call Daffy Voice.
- Telephony accounts — your Twilio or Plivo credentials, or SIP trunk details, which you do add yourself.
