Campaigns & workflows
Campaigns
A campaign calls everyone on a list with one AI employee, at the pace and hours you choose. It's the quickest way to run an outbound calling job.
Need more than calling — callbacks routed by outcome, transfers, results sent to your CRM? Use a workflow instead; it creates and runs a campaign for you.
Create a campaign
In the dashboard, open Campaigns and create a new one. There are four short steps.
Basics
Name it, and pick the Calling from number — the caller ID your contacts see. Its attached AI employee makes the calls, so the number must have one (see Phone numbers). Optionally add Backup numbers to rotate the caller ID, and set Calls at once (1–20).
Contacts
Upload a CSV file or type contacts in by hand. Check Which column has the phone number? — Daffy Voice guesses, but you can change it. If your numbers lack a country code, click Add country codes.
To call only part of the list, add rules under Only call contacts where…, for example
status is unpaid. Text matching ignores upper and lower case. Rows that don't match are kept on the campaign but never dialled.Timing & retries
Choose when calling starts, whether to retry, callbacks, and calling hours. See Calling hours, retries & callbacks.
Review
Check the summary and create the campaign.
When calling starts
- When I press Start — the campaign is created but nothing is dialled until you press Start on the campaign page.
- At a date and time — it starts by itself at the time you set, in the timezone you choose.
Running a campaign
The campaign page shows progress, each contact's call and outcome, and these actions:
- Pause — calls already in progress finish; no new calls are placed.
- Resume — carries on from where it stopped.
- Export CSV — downloads every contact with its result.
