Daffy Voice tries to point the number's incoming calls at itself. If it worked you'll see inbound webhook configured automatically ✓. If not, the message says why — see the next section.
Note
+, the country code, then the number — 8 to 15 digits, no spaces needed. Anything else is rejected with Invalid phone number. If incoming calls aren't set up automatically
At the bottom of Phone Numbers, the Receiving inbound calls card shows Daffy Voice's inbound webhook URL with a Copy URL button. Paste it as the voice webhook of the number in your Twilio or Plivo console.
Attach an AI employee
On the number's card, choose an AI employee in the Attach an AI employee… menu. The card then shows it as Routed, and calls to that number are answered by that AI employee. Use Detach to stop it answering. You can also change the AI employee, name and location with Edit.

Remove a number
Click the delete icon on the number's card and confirm. Incoming calls stop being answered straight away. This removes the number from Daffy Voice only — it stays in your Twilio or Plivo account, and you keep paying the provider for it until you release it there.
