Get started
Quickstart
Go from a new account to an AI employee answering a real phone number. Most of it takes a few minutes; the only wait is account approval.
Before you start
You need a Daffy Voice account. If you want real phone calls (not just browser tests), you also need a phone number — a Twilio or Plivo account, or SIP trunk details from your carrier. See Phone numbers.
Steps
Sign up and wait for approval
Go to Sign up, enter your name, work email, company name, GSTIN and a password, then press Submit for Approval. Every new company is reviewed by the UBIQ team. Until it's approved, the login page shows Still waiting for approval. Once approved, log in with the same email and password.
Hire your first AI employee
On your first login Daffy reads your company's website — the one in your work email address (you@yourcompany.com → yourcompany.com) — and suggests AI employees. Pick one, choose a phone number and check its call flow, or press Skip to set things up yourself. You can also go to AI Employees → Hire an AI employee and pick Start from your website, Describe it or Build from scratch. Review the script and greeting, then save it — it starts as a draft and calls no one.
Talk to it in your browser
On the AI employee's page, press Test and talk to it with your microphone. Adjust the script until it sounds right. See Testing.
Connect a phone number
Go to Phone Numbers → Add a number and choose Twilio, Plivo or SIP trunk. On the number's card, use Attach an AI employee to pick the one that should answer it.
Go live
Back on the AI employee's page, press Go live. Calls to its number are now answered by it. To call people instead, start a campaign.
