AI employees

Build with Daffy

Daffy is the built-in assistant in Daffy Voice. Tell it the calling job in plain words — Daffy plans it, asks you a few questions, and sets up the AI employee and the workflow for you.

Start a chat

Open Home in the dashboard and type what you want in the chat box, for example “Call customers with a pending EMI and note when they promise to pay”. The Try: buttons under the box fill in common jobs. You can attach your contact list (a CSV or Excel file) with the paperclip before you send.

What Daffy does

  1. Plans the job

Daffy writes a plan: who is called, what the AI employee says, the outcomes to record and what happens after each call.

  2. Walks you through the setup

Press Set it up. Daffy asks one thing at a time, depending on the job: your contact list, knowledge documents, language, voice, the AI employee, the phone number and — for outgoing calls — when to call. You confirm everything on a final review.

  3. Builds it

Daffy drafts the AI employee for this job and builds the workflow. You can open both and change anything.

Changing things later

Every workflow has a Daffy panel on its canvas. Ask it to change the AI employee — its greeting, script, voice, speed, name or language — and Daffy shows what it changed with an Undo button. It can also add steps such as sending results to a Google Sheet, or link a document from your knowledge base.

  • Your conversations are listed under Previous chats on Home, so you can pick one up again.
  • New chat starts from a blank conversation.

Nothing goes live without you

Daffy prepares the AI employee and the workflow. Switching the AI employee on is a button you press at the end, and outgoing calls begin only when you start calling or at the time you scheduled.

Tip

Daffy uses AI for every reply, which uses a small amount of AI credit. Short, specific requests get the best results.
